Roadside Assistance

Sometimes your car doesn't need a tow. Sometimes it just needs a jump start or a tire change or some gas.

Last month, a guy called us from a grocery store parking lot. His battery died while he was shopping and he had a trunk full of frozen food melting in the heat. He didn't need a tow to a mechanic - he just needed his car to start so he could get home.

Our driver was there in 15 minutes with a jump box. Car started right up. Total time from call to driving away was maybe 20 minutes. The frozen food survived.

That's the kind of help that makes sense. You don't always need the biggest solution. Sometimes you just need someone to show up with the right tools and know what they're doing.

We do flat tire changes too. And if you've ever tried changing a tire on the side of a busy road with trucks blowing past you at 60 miles per hour, you know why people call us for that. It's dangerous out there. Let someone who does this every day handle it.

Locked your keys in your car? We can help with that too. It happens more than you'd think. We've unlocked cars in restaurant parking lots, at gas stations, outside people's houses, even at the airport once for someone who realized their keys were sitting on the driver's seat right as they closed the door.

If you run out of gas, we'll bring you enough to get to a station. If your battery's dead and a jump won't fix it, we can tow you somewhere to get a new one.

The point is, we're here to solve the problem in front of you - whatever that problem is.

Jump Starts for Dead Batteries

Dead battery is probably the most common car problem there is. You left your headlights on. Or your interior light. Or you listened to the radio too long with the engine off.

Or your battery's just old and today was the day it decided to quit working.

Either way, your car won't start and you need help.

We carry jump boxes on all our trucks. They're portable battery packs that can jump your car without needing another vehicle.

Our driver shows up, hooks up the jump box to your battery, and gets your car started. Takes about five to ten minutes.

Once your car's running, you can drive to an auto parts store and get a new battery if you need one. Or drive home and deal with it later. Either way, you're not stuck anymore.

Sometimes a jump won't work. The battery might be completely dead beyond jumping, or the problem might not actually be the battery. If that happens, we can tow your car somewhere to get looked at properly.

But most of the time, a jump is all you need to get going again.

Flat Tire Changes

You hit a pothole. Or ran over a nail. Or your tire's just old and the tread finally gave out. Now you're sitting somewhere with a flat tire.

You probably have a spare tire in your trunk. You might even have a jack. But changing a tire yourself, especially on a busy road, is risky.

Cars passing too close. Uneven ground that makes jacking up the car tricky. Lug nuts that are stuck tight. Trying to work fast because you feel like you're in everyone's way.

We'll change it for you.

Our drivers have done thousands of tire changes. They've got the right tools and they know what they're doing. They can get your spare on quick and safe.

Once the spare's on, you can drive to a tire shop and get a new tire put on properly. Spares aren't meant for long distance driving, but they'll get you where you need to go.

If your spare is also flat or you don't have a spare, we'll tow you to a tire shop instead.

Fuel Delivery

Running out of gas is one of those things that feels really dumb when it happens but happens to everyone eventually.

Maybe your gas gauge is broken and you didn't realize how low you were. Maybe you were trying to make it to the next exit and didn't quite make it. Maybe you were so focused on other stuff you just forgot to fill up.

Doesn't matter why. You're out of gas and your car won't go.

We'll bring you enough fuel to get to the nearest gas station. Usually two or three gallons is plenty.

Our driver shows up with a gas can, pours it in your tank, and you're good to go. Drive straight to a station and fill up properly.

This is way faster and cheaper than getting your car towed somewhere just because you ran out of gas.

Winch Out Service

Sometimes your car's not broken - it's just stuck.

You slid off the road into a ditch. You got stuck in mud or snow. You parked on grass that turned out to be softer than you thought and now your wheels are spinning.

We can winch you out.

Our trucks have heavy duty winches with steel cables. We hook the cable to your car's frame and pull you back onto solid ground.

Once you're unstuck, you can usually just drive away if nothing's actually broken on your car.

If you did damage something sliding into that ditch, we can tow you to get it fixed. But a lot of times people just need to get unstuck and then they're fine.

Battery Testing

If your battery keeps dying, you might have a bad battery that needs replacing. Or you might have something else draining it.

Our drivers can test your battery to see if it's holding a charge properly. If the battery's bad, you know you need a new one.

If the battery tests fine, the problem's probably your alternator or something else in the electrical system. Then you know you need to take it to a mechanic to figure out what's going on.

Testing takes just a couple minutes and it helps you know what your next step should be.

Helping You Get Back on the Road

Roadside assistance is about solving problems quick so you can keep going with your day.

You were heading somewhere when your car had an issue. A jump start or tire change gets you back to heading there. Total delay might be 30 minutes instead of your whole day being messed up.

That's the whole point. Fast help for problems that don't need a big complicated solution.
